Success Story ICT Trainee

And not only are more and more Tech companies emerging, but existing ones are continuing to grow. This is also the case at Encis. With great pleasure and passion, we work daily to migrate, manage and maintain our customers' IT. In recent years we have thought up and found smart ways to make the process more efficient and people are well attuned to each other. We work hard, but also have a lot of fun together. As we grow, we too are facing staffing needs. And how do you shape that? There are plenty of opportunities for that. For example, we are now looking for ICT professionals who can use their existing knowledge and expertise to help build Encis and who like to do things a little better all the time. Better when it comes to making our own processes even smarter, but also better when it comes to providing the right advice for our customers.

Sidiary starters with a passion for ICT

Another way to recruit new staff came in response to a tip. And we went with that! Now a year later we can report that our colleague Youri is a great example of hiring someone who was not previously working within ICT. With a bit of self-confidence (I've never done it before so I think I can do it) perseverance, but above all curiosity, the will to just do it, and being a bit self-taught are a huge help in taking that step.

From a job in the supermarket, to a job in ICT

And so did Youri. Working for 10 years at Deen in one of its branches, he was faced with a takeover. This put him in a position to ask himself the question "what do I really want". That answer came quickly. He had always had an affinity for IT and wanted nothing more than to make the switch to IT. And that's how Youri entered Encis. A year later, Youri has a permanent contract, a company car and we never want to lose him. He is patient, eager to learn and helpful and is still learning new things every day. A great success story as far as we are concerned!
