Awareness training via E-Learning

This training is designed to increase awareness of information security among employees. They can learn the basics of information security and security independently of a location or each other in an enjoyable and interactive way. Something everyone has to deal with these days when working with information.

General

We all see it more and more in the news. Companies or schools being hacked via a ransomware attack or a Ddos attack. There where a ransom has to be paid to get data back. Or there where all data ends up on the street.

Has become the order of the day these days. Among other things, the Covid pandemic has been abused by malicious people. For example, the number of help desk fraud reports increased by 200%, 500 million guests of the Mariott hotel were previously stolen, several Dutch providers suffered a DDos attack, the Hof van Twente was hit by a ransomware attack, data was stolen from the GGD's corona system, and cinema concern Pathe was hit by CEO fraud.

Also within the SME sector, the number of data breaches has increased by 200%

There are also plenty of reports within the SME sector, except that they often don't make big headlines.

A good example is the hack on a company that provides global network monitoring, or the Log4j vulnerability in use by legion of software.

Encis takes security very seriously. For us, "being secure" is an everyday occurrence and is now woven into everything we do. We like to transfer our knowledge and expertise to our customers and this E-learning is 1 of the methods to bring more knowledge to users when it comes to this security.

When you ask a security expert about the definition of information security, you may get an answer similar to the following definition:

"Information security (IS) is designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of computer system data from persons with malicious intent. Availability, integrity and confidentiality are sometimes referred to as the IB trinity of information security."

If you read it this way, information security seems like a topic you'd rather not know too much about. And yet, as a company or individual, we have to deal with the consequences of information security every day. Whether it's a policy on a Web site, using a password to log into a cloud environment or a special key to open a door. Information security has become part of our everyday lives

During the Security Awareness e-learning, we invite you into the world of information security. This e-learning is made especially for Encis customers. We hope it will give you more knowledge so that you can make the right choices for yourself.

Content of training

We offer the training through an e-learning. The participant receives an email with a link to the training. It consists of 5 chapters, with a number of knowledge questions at the end of each chapter. At the end of the e-learning there will be a test and the participant will receive a digital certificate.

The e-learning takes about 30 minutes and can be done at the participant's convenience. Our advice is to do the training in a quiet place where you cannot be disturbed.

All participants will receive a certificate after participating in the training. We also provide a report containing all the participants' results.

Costs

We have had this training specially created and is tailored to Encis' customers. The training costs 35 euros per participant excluding VAT. Especially for the customers of Encis, a 20% discount applies and thus costs 28 euros excl VAT per participant.
