Frits Chen

Hi, I’m Frits Chen.

I live in Bovenkarspel, am married, and have two children.

I’ve been passionate about IT for years. At home, you’ll often find me at my computer, working on my own network and servers, or tackling various technical challenges. I particularly enjoy figuring out why something isn't working and persisting until I find a solution. Naturally, I bring that same curiosity to my work at Encis.

Outside of IT, I’m heavily involved in volleyball. I play the sport myself and also serve as a trainer and coach for a youth team. What I love about volleyball is that it’s a true team effort; everyone has their own role, but ultimately, the result is a shared responsibility.

The open, personal atmosphere at Encis appealed to me, as did the opportunities for professional development. I’m excited to put my existing IT experience to use while also learning plenty of new things.

What makes me happy? It’s actually quite simple: solving problems and helping people. There’s a great sense of satisfaction when someone comes to me with an issue and I’m able to get things working again. And, of course, I also enjoy a good volleyball match, a pleasant evening with my family, or tinkering with IT at home.
